See the Difference in Style and Function
If you’ve ever lived with traditional vertical blinds, you know the deal — they work, but they often feel stiff, noisy, outdated, and just … not great. One curious pet, one quick step through a doorway, and suddenly they’re tangled or bent again. That’s exactly why so many Greenville, SC homeowners are making the switch to Norman® SmartDrape™, a sleek, modern alternative that looks better, lives better, and solves everyday challenges traditional blinds just can’t.
Norman SmartDrape creates a soft, flowing aesthetic that feels intentional and refined — not utilitarian like old-school vertical blinds. The design combines sheer and fabric vanes in a way that adds visual richness and enhances your living space. Norman® USA
Sheer Views When You Want Them
One of the first things people notice about SmartDrape is how it lets in natural light and outdoor views without blocking everything like traditional vertical blinds sometimes do.
When set to “sheer”, SmartDrape provides:
- A bright, open feel
- A clear view to the outside
- Elegant, soft lines that elevate your décor
With vertical blinds, even an open setting can still feel like you’re looking through slats — not so with SmartDrape. Norman® USA
Privacy That’s Easy to Control
When privacy matters — movie night, evening gatherings, or just everyday living — SmartDrape transitions seamlessly with a simple tilt or slide. The fabric vanes create a clean, cohesive surface that blocks sightlines and filters light beautifully — all while keeping the room feeling calm and soft, not closed off.
Built for Real Life — Pets, Kids & Walk-Through Living
Here’s where SmartDrape truly outshines traditional vertical blinds: the unique vane design lets you walk right through the shades without damaging them — even when they’re closed. That means kids and pets can move in and out without snagging cords or bending slats, giving you peace of mind and a neater look day after day.
Machine Washable & Easy to Maintain
Let’s face it — blinds and shades get dusty, dirty, and smudged. With SmartDrape, the fabric vanes are machine washable, making cleaning simple and keeping your window treatments looking great for years. Traditional vertical blinds rarely offer this level of easy maintenance.
Quiet, Smooth Everyday Operation
Another everyday advantage? Noise. Soft fabric vanes operate quietly compared to the clacking and rattling of rigid vertical blinds. Whether you’re opening them in the morning or adjusting for evening light, SmartDrape moves with a calm, graceful motion — a subtle upgrade you’ll appreciate every day.
